Welcome to this webinar on Wednesday 3 October at 10:00-11:00 (CEST) which will be an introduction to Digital literacy.

  • What does it mean to be digitally literate?
  • What skills do we need to develop?
  • Managing your digital identity
  • Freedom with responsibility

Sara Mörtsell is the program leader of the Wikipedia Education program in Sweden and Education Manager at Wikimedia Sweden. She calls herself an Open Educator and her well-nourished interest in digital literacies stems from a background in linguistics, language education, MOOCs, free licenses and, of course, Wikipedia.

The webinar will be in Zoom. Make sure you have a webcam and a headset set up before you enter the room. If you have not used Zoom before you can watch this film explaining how to join a meeting. To go to the meeting, click the “Go to event” button to the right. You will however not have to use camera or microphone if you do not specifically want to ask questions outside the chat.
