Important information about privacy in the course Open Networked Learning

In this course you will use a number of open and public digital tools and platforms for collaboration, reflecting and creation, e.g. Google, WordPress, Twitter. The accounts you create for these can be used before and after the course. You decide whether they should be considered as your private accounts or connected to your professional profile. If you want you can create your account to show only your first name or a pseudonym so that personal information is not publicly visible. You are personally responsible for these accounts and the information you share during the course. After the course is over you are free to delete your information from the platforms and leave the group.

This is also true for the ONL account you need to have in order to participate in a PBL group, with one major difference. Your ONL account and all information stored on www.opennetworkedlearning.se is stored on servers at Karlstad University, Sweden. The university is obliged, at your request, to correct, block and delete your data. Here you can read more about how Karlstad University handles personal data.
