Welcome to this topic 4 webinar with Marti Cleveland-Innes!

During this webinar you will, together with Marti Cleveland-Innes, Anne Whaits and Cecila Hellekant, be able to discuss blended and online teaching and learning and design frameworks like Community of Inquiry (CoI).

The idea is to have a webinar giving the opportunity for much interaction and deepened discussion on learning design and the Community of Inquiry framework (CoI) from an educator perspective. The Webinar is structured into four sub-topics briefly introduced and led by Marti:

  • Principles of Designing for Blended and Online Learning
  • Applications in Design and Delivery Actions
  • The Educator Role Change (where are we going, how and what to take online)
  • Notions of Blended Learning (multimodal learning, how and what to blend)

As preparation for the webinar you should view Marti´s introduction video on the Padlet for the topic 4 webinar. This padlet offers the opportunity for the PBL groups to add comments and questions related to the sub-topics before the webinar. The Padlet will also remain open the whole week after the webinar, to follow-up any questions you would like to raise with Marti Cleveland-Innes.
