Welcome to join our first of two webinars about learning in communities. Our guest for the two sessions is Hróbjartur Árnason from the University of Iceland. Hróbjartur is the Director of Academic Development and Assistant Professor of Adult learning and Human resources development in the School of Education.

In this webinar Hróbjartur will discuss why we should regard learning as a social act. In the webinar, we will also discuss together various aspects of such social learning in the hope of finding ways to create learning communities in the courses we lead.
