Time flies and 12 weeks has gone fast! In the past 12 weeks, we have tried our best to gain the competence that the course Open Networked Learning requires. The process has been tough, but it is worthy.

Here I am not going to go in details on what I have learned from the last four topics, because you only need to click the older posts and you can find my reflection. What I want to do for this blog is to reflect my change after taking this course. The first time I used zoom was five years ago and I had a ZOOM meeting with a company to present my presentation on cultural training. I remember I was very nervous at that time with this online tool, not knowing how to show my powerpoint, and so on. Now, I was using ZOOM to join Webinar, joining PBL group meeting, but I even tried to set up a ZOOM exam for a student who was on business trip and could not join the final oral exam. How amazing!

I started to writing blog on reflection, but I also start to use google sites to share my teaching materials online. What I want to do next is to write teaching blogs, so my students who miss the lesson can catch up by reading the blogs and other teachers can also benefit from the teaching ideas I am sharing. It will be really cool!

The course is end so far, but I must say that the journey for online teaching just start! There are so many things we learned from this course, and this is only a start! What need to do next is to try out the things we learned into our practice. It might be challenging, or maybe exciting, but I am ready and looking forward to it!

The course is great, organizers have been fantastic, and the whole course was well-organized! Facilitators Alas and Medwish have been super helpful! And a big thanks to all the PBL group 8 members, thanks for your collaboration and nice to work with you!

Here are some reflection on something that we can improve. I have been thinking that if we can reschedule the meeting, maybe we can learn more from this course. Our PBL meetings were scheduled on Monday and Tuesday, 11:00-12:00. Every new topic delivered on Friday. For many of us who has got used to the habit that not working on weekends, it was quite possible that joining the first meeting on Monday without doing the readings. Personally I have teaching on Monday the whole day, which made the situation even worse, because I had to struggle between my own teaching and PBL meeting.(This is my own problem!!! Need to have better planning in the future). And after the meeting on Monday, another meeting is coming on 23 hours. If we had a bit more time to do the reading before PBL meetings, and had one or two days to digest the content of previous meetings. I believe most of us are the first timer to join online course and did not have much experience. Anyway, I am glad that we made it! Thank you PBL group 8!

Once again, thanks to the wonderful course organizers, our nice facilitators, and all the PBL members of group 8 and other groups (thanks for your sharing during the whole course! The last but not the least, thank you Lotta, our educational developer and other colleagues from Lund University! ?
