This year is the third year of the covid-19 pandemic and we are all pretty tired of all things digital – or? We have discovered new ways of doing things, are more comfortable interacting online and we have learnt so much! And judging from activity in this iteration of the course, things don’t look all that bad… We hope that ONL has meant deeper insights and more discussions around the whats, hows, whens and whys of online learning and teaching than you get in your everyday professional life, and that you have made discoveries around collaboration and networking. We have often heard participants in ONL say that they have experienced – even enjoyed – proper collaboration for the first time.

It is time to move on, bring some of what you have picked up here into your own context. We hope you will keep in touch with some of your new colleagues from this course and continue to explore the field of open networked learning. And who knows, maybe some of us will even meet at a physical event in the future?!

Finally, all of us in the ONL team want to thank you for sharing this journey with us🎉💫
