At first I was quiet apprehensive of the ONL192 course because my colleagues said that there is quiet a lot of work involved. As I started the course it was very interesting to me that because of technology we connect with different types of cultures from all over the world. The dynamics in my group are great. I have very strong academics as well as strong personalities in my group. I sometimes find it hard to voice my opinion as I find myself intimidated by how intellectual my group really is and I am hoping I will start getting more comfortable as the weeks go on.
Digital Students
Once we got started one of our first webinars was about what platforms do we use when we teach or lecture. There was a general consensus that ICT was used in some shape or form specifically to the individuals that are involved with teaching and learning at their institutions. The other individuals in my group also use ICT either in their personal lives or to make their jobs.

I realized in the first week that the young and older generations are using technology in some shape or form. It got me thinking that we now have skills that we could of never had if technology was out of the picture. Therefore by just doing this course it is developing skills that I could not necessarily developed if I was not engaging in different forms of technology that the ONL192 course is getting me to engage with.
