Over the last 2 weeks, I have made many new friends from all over the world :). Peer support has been a key to make my learning about online digital tools more interesting. When I enrolled for this course in January, I had no idea about online teaching and learning tools. I had several questions in my mind. Some of which are: (1) how do I choose the right tools to support learning, (2) how do I learn to use the tools, (3) how do I get confidence to use the tools?, (4) how do digital tools work for people with disabilities?, and (5) how do I maintain my boundaries.
However, I have learnt so much- starting with how to create this blog itself, communicating via slack, padlet, mural (I know there is more to come over the next few weeks through this programme). With our great teamwork and efforts, we have designed and presented our Topic 1 work together as a team. Instead of just focusing on the case scenario and its outcomes, our group has tackled the process of learning together, as evident in this image of our padlet (as shown below). I have also learnt about Fish diagram, Focus, Investigate, Share with group, and Share with the ONL community, to pen down our thoughts related to our group work systematically.
As the popular saying goes, “the more we learn, the less we know”. I am looking forward to learning more from our facilitators and my great team
