This blog was first aimed for sharing experiences on teaching in Sweden spanning from lower secondary to higher education. Currently a teacher at Karlstad University in Sweden, I intend to share some experiences picked up on the way to and at Karlstad university, starting with my working experience as a professional meteorologist and manager which eventually led to my academic work, reshaping programming skills for developing apps and, finally, teaching.

As I recently joined an online course on Open Networked Learning, I will also be reporting from this journey into the world of digital learning and communication.

I am currently teaching courses in web development (JavaScript and HTML) at the department of Informatics at Karlstad university. I have a Ph.D. in Media Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. My background is within Meteorology and I still have a passion for weather, in fact my interests are all somehow related to weather: skiing, sailing, hiking, painting… Actually, my doctoral thesis was also all about the weather. In addition, I studied and theoretisized on collaborative production in networks, communication, sharing, motivations to participate and share information, and design of services and platforms that might encourage sharing of weather-related information.
