I found my way to this course rather by coincidence and so had little expectations to begin with. What made me decide to attend the course was mainly the relevance of the topics and not least the opportunity to exchange experience with people of different experience around the world. As it happens it exceeded my expectations in this regard and has provided a true learning experience. Since this was the first time I have enrolled in a course of this kind it took a while to appreciate the overall structure and expectations. I had never tried writing in the blog format and maybe was a bit sceptical to begin with how this would work out in a course setting. However after managing to connect my blog I soon got accustomed and it turned out to be really useful as a tool for reflection and sharing my thoughts and impression of the course matter as it evolved.

What especially made this opportunity a rich learning experience to me was the group collaboration which went very smooth to start with. I think we initial set ourself a high standard with regards to the form of presentation. We decided to use different digital tools for each presentation that where all new to me. So it became a really learning by doing experience for me to learn the potential applications and benefits of these tools. I think the tools were very apt for the topics at hand and evolved to be used mainly as means for presentations for the first two topics to encompass more of a sort of meta-reflections tools as we ventured into the last topics related to blended learning. I definitively will further explore the potentials of these tools and try to raise awareness of them in my institution.

What really made this learning opportunity inspiring has been the lively and creative discussions we have had in our group. It truly has been a collective journey where we have learned and progressed trough each others experiences. This has made me even more aware that learning is a collective effort where we each can provide regardless of our previous experience and knowledge. To sum up this learning opportunity has provide me with many knew insights as well as more hands on applications to explore and I hope and trust we will keep in touch in the future to continue sharing our insights and experiences.
