What are the most important things that you have learnt through your engagement in the ONL course?
- Discussions in the group,
co-creation of knowledge and deepening understanding together - Understanding the importance of
social context for learning, not only in online education - Using a variety of tools,
becoming confident in using online tools - Becoming acquainted with online
pedagogical frameworks
How will your learning influence your practice?
- I will put more focus on
creating an atmosphere in the group - I will try to create tasks which
require collaboration and shared thinking - I will use appropriate tools
for different tasks - When designing a course I will
use the pedagogical frameworks introduced as a base
What are your thoughts about using technology to enhance learning/teaching in your own context?
- There are demands of more
flexibility in education and with technological tools we can answer to these demands - Some technological tools force
the students to working together, which enhances learning
ONL 191 has been worth the time spent on
the course. It has been really time consuming, but the discussions in the group,
the readings and the joy of learning weigh a lot more on the scale. I feel I
now have the tools I need for creating online and blended learning courses and
the confidence to just do it!
