Almost there - just one more question...
Do you want to participate in a problem based learning group?
To participate in a problem based learning group (PBL) is the most common form of participation as well as the most collaborative one. We highly recommend it! You study within a facilitated PBL group with other international learners and experience the real ONL vibe. After successfully finishing the course, you will receive a course certificate. Places in PBL groups are limited though and only available on a first come, first served basis. This iteration, ONL221, starts in February 2022, and runs over 12 weeks, ending in May. The course work equals about 80 hours, i.e. 2 weeks of full-time study.
Registration as open learner in a PBL group
As an open learner (not affiliated to the institutions listed above), you can participate in a PBL group. Spots in PBL groups are limited and subject to availability. First come, first served, once the official course registration opens.
If you are unsure if you are an open learner read more here.
Participate in ONL221 as independent learner
As independent learner you are not affiliated to any of the organizing institutions named above and you do not wish to participate in a PBL group. You can follow the course informally, studying topics independently and taking part in common course activities. You do not need to register but are encouraged to create a learning blog, writing reflections on the course and connecting it to the course homepage as well as joining the live events. You are not eligible for a course certificate.
Registration as institutional participant through your institution
All ONL collaborators are listed below.
If you are affiliated to any of these institutions please see who to contact below and you should register through your institution. The deadline for registration as an institutional participant might vary between institutions. Please note that all institutions are not involved in every iteration of the course.
