We came to the conclusion that communication is an important part of learning and artificial intelligence can help students in the process of sharing information and knowledge. It is important to understand that digital literacy is not just about tools, it is about being able to use those tools, evaluate their content, create new content and integrate our own knowledge and reflections.
  • For the third element, career and identity management, we discussed that we, as teachers have to manage our online reputation by removing damaging content from our social medial, establishing professional social media, and locking down our personal social media, and …
  • For the fourth element, ICT literacy, concerning adopt, adapt, and use digital devices, applications, and services, we pointed that AI-assisted learning allows for educational support in authentic environments and extends the boundaries of the classroom. For example, VR devices can be used to make a virtual lab for students from remote places and also when the real requirements are not available.
  • For the fifth element, learning skills, we mentioned that we can stay up to date with the newest trend in the field that we are teaching in, for example business or science etc. as we no longer need to read through a lot of articles to find the information for a lesson, we can immediately get the information and do research by ourselves on a topic that we wish to do further research on.
  • For the sixth element, we discussed that digital literacy can be used for collaboration by disseminating research or professional practices. It can engage interdisciplinary and public by using digital technologies and tools to support them. It makes the research more accessible. One of the possible tools in academia, for literature management is called Mendeley. It can help you to organize your work in a more efficient way when reading and writing research papers.
  • For the seventh element, information literacy, we discussed how we can use Chatbot to improve information literacy.
