Today, I participated in the first online webinar for the ONL course. Exciting to learn that there are course participants from across the world, with a large variety of professional backgrounds. Previous experiences of online teaching and learning in the group seem to vary greatly. Lars Uhlin talked about PBL. The core of the learning process in PBL is inquiry, and the teaching should be based on real world problems (Silen and Uhlin 2008). I have not used PBL previously, although I have done some teaching in case methodology, which is also based on real world problems. I am quite fond of case methodology, and look forward to learn more about PBL.
