My first thought that came up when we were asked to draw our own “digi-map” on the webinar with Dave W was that “oh, but this will be a simple map with only a few nodes. I’m not very digitized at all , really”. I Mean, I don’t have facebook (any longer), no snapchat, no twitter, no blog, no youtube channel, no nothing. But, when starting thinking about it, it became more complex then I first thought. There are so many tools that I actually use (google drive (like it very much), Instagram (but not so much), whatsup (never thought of that as a “tool”!), dropbox and our university box (super!), email (could not live without), Skype, zoom…etc), but that I never considered being “tools”. The most surprising was when we first met for this course, and we were suppose to set up our blog. Jörg said to me; “Linda, I see you already have a wordpress account”. “I do? Yes, apparently I do. Yes” (I have a wordpress page were I present my self as a researcher and teacher). But I have totally forgot about it. The digitization has sneaked upon me.
