It is amazing how fast time flies. It does not feel like a long ago when I first started this ONL course. I have to say that I felt frustrated and really stressed out when I realized that the platform was completely different from my previous experiences. That combined with everything that was going on with COVID-19 added to the stress. However it also gave me a better understanding of how our students might feel when they start their university studies and are faced with different platforms and have to do things that they have to learn in a very short time period. Even if it was stressful, this course and this experience has also taught me that there is really nothing that can stop me if I really want to learn something new.

The group was a wonderful and inspiring space where we shared experiences and thoughts. I was inspired to learn how such a large course can be divided into smaller sub groups. At the same time we had access to the other groups is blogs so that we could follow their learning journey. This has given me a good sense of how I could run my course where there are 70+ students and still create smaller groups where the students can feel more relaxed and “home” and thereby having a sense of belonging where they can openly share ideas and thoughts.

I realize that this is only the beginning of my journey of becoming a better teacher when it comes to online and blended learning. The rest is to come later and I am looking forward to it!
