The most important things that I have learnt through my engagement in the ONL course

It was my first-time taking an online course like this one. I did not feel lost in this course. I really enjoyed my experience with learning from my group members, the most important thing i learned was collaboration. I enjoyed the flexibility component of the course. I enjoyed working from my laptop. For an online course I received more attention from the course presenters and group members.

How will your learning influence your practice?

I learned a lot from the course. I am now equipped with the skills to facilitate online courses. with the skills learned in this course I will be able to integrate the tools I learned in to my teaching and leaning. I am fascinated by the use of ICT tool in the classroom. Therefore the tools I got to experiment, my students will be excited when I introduce this courses in the classroom.

What inspired me to join ONL course

More Comfortable Learning Environment

With the ability to learn anywhere, I was able to join the ONL meetings anywhere for example at home, a coffee shop, or a library. This advantage of online learning allowed me to work in the environment and I was able to complete the activities anywhere with reasonable time line and due dates.

Geographic Flexibility

I was able to work and collaborate with other team member across the world. I had the freedom to juggle my work and school because tied down to a fixed schedule. The deadlines where reasonable and I had enough time to complete the activities.

Access to Expertise

ONL gave me access to specialized courses that is not available in an easily accessible or local institution of learning. This ONL course allowed me the sharing my experience and little knowledge I had about ICT tools.
