On Thursday, I presented together with my dear colleague Lars Uhlin our open online course Open Networked Learning during #OER20. You can find the recording here. The session started with a presentation by Bonnie Stewart, Dave Cormier and their colleagues and students about their Open Page project. The Open Page is a fantastic resource with CC-BY licensed videos & podcasts, providing an overview of edtech platforms and promises: “our ongoing parade of tool reviews tells you what teachers need to know about new tech tools, student data, and differentiated learning possibilities”. And they deliver!

In the unlikely case you followed my development over the last six or seven years, you will understand that I was kind of starstruck. For the rest and interested of you, have a keep read here from five years ago.

The second presentation during the session was about the OpenMed project, which aimed to widen the participation and adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Educational Practices (OEP) as a bottom-up approach to support the modernisation of the Higher Education sector in in the South-Mediterranean. Even here we were no strangers. Cristina Stefanelli, one of the presenters, was at Tom and my #SPLOT workshop during #OEGlobal19 in Italy. She was so kind to post some feedback from that session the week before, so it was extra nice to see her again.

Our presentation went quite alright. We got some positive responses from Gabi Witthaus and Nadia Cheikhrouhou, among others and it was very nice to be able to contribute to the great community of #OER20!
