What are the most important things that you have learnt through your engagement in the ONL course? Why? I think that this course will grow on me. So much content to absorb and use when creating my next on-line course. I am somewhat overwhelmed, how will I be able to create courses that take into considerationFortsätt läsa “What have I learned?”

Topic 4 about learning design was one reason I wanted to take this course. Due to uncontrollable circumstances, I have been a step behind my group in reflection and action and I have since tried to catch up.   When reading about pedagogical learning designs such as “the 7 C´s of Learning design” (Gráinne Conole) or “The five-stageFortsätt läsa “Design? What about content?”

Trust as a prerequisite for Cooperation and collaboration – do I have a choice or not?  I know a 14-year old boy who already at age 5 did a lot of thinking. For days he was pacing his home with a serious look on his face and he could not find peace. Finally, he saidFortsätt läsa “Collaboration-trust-choices”

We really do not have a choice – open learning is already happening and soon enough educational institutions will be evaluated according to their ”quality of learning support” rather than ” the quality of content delivery” which students can find in other places. It is a hopeful scenario where open content and open learning ”reflectFortsätt läsa “It is already happening”

Phew, my kids would be frustrated watching me suffer when watching me hesitate at every step when setting up this blog. But here I am, determined to become less of a ”digital native”. My profession is far from computers and understanding digital tools – it feels as if I am learning a whole new professionFortsätt läsa “Here we go”

For me, one major learning outcome from the ONL course was the realization that so much pedagogy, strategies and online tools have already been thought out, planned, executed and analyzed, that my colleagues and I certainly don´ t have to invent the wheel again. The ONL course has been very useful, especially in the time of Covid19, inspirational and fun to participate in! I have met and worked online with so nice and generous persons. Designing for online and blended learning can be a challenge, but support from theoretical frameworks can help organizing thoughts about what is important to include in such learning context.
