Hi Florence and group 2! Interesting thoughts regarding open learning. The need to redesign courses that are to be made open is an important one but probably not often taken into consideration due to limited knowledge. Open courses designed in a traditional course format may present barriers to learning. Like you mentioned, open learning may be less accessible in less developed contexts due to limited knowledge, lack of internet access but also old versions of useful/needed applications. However, it is good to keep making them open, i think of the Franciscan priest/teacher who recently won a price. He would access materials at a local internet cafe and then use them to teach his students! Open learning is truly a good resource to sustainable development Reply
