So what did I learn?

I learned that it is possible to collaborate with people all around the world at the same time. You just need to have a clear goal and rules how this group is working together. By working in groups everybody’s strength will be used and everybody can support each other. The outcome will be better when you are collaborating.

Because I have a more administrative role at my University and I only have one to two courses per Academic year. I took this course to get ideas how I could develop my courses and also so how I can help my colleagues with online education and lastly so that I can relate to the students and their feeling to online courses. Through this course I got a wider perspective on online courses and what you need to think about when you are planning and facilitating an online course. For me I feel that blended learning is something I will try to develop and not make my courses totally online. Now I have a good base and will continue to learn more about different tools and researches about online learning. The next step for me is to start develop my lectures with different online tools. I got good ideas and tools from the course and now I just need to start working with them.

I have already in a other blog post mentioned that this course takes more time then you think so I would say to everybody that are thinking about taking this course that you need a lot of time so make sure you schedule time for it in before.

Overall this was a positive experience and I have now good tools to continue my learning about online and blended learning.
